This photo was taken by artist Rosemary Feit Covey in her studio in preparation for her Brain Tumor Series. The lighting is interesting because it reveals scars from my craniotomy. The indentation in the left section of my forehead is where a portion of my skull was removed. This was the “point of entry” for my 5/5/05 brain surgery, allowing neurosurgeon Dr. Patrick J. Kelly to get to the brain tumor that is basically located in the middle of my brain. The craniotomy section is about 4 inches in circumference.
