10 June 2009 Missi- I had the privelge of meeting David once, he made an impression on my heart that I will carry forever. I knew little of David's story the day I met him, but felt compelled to learn more about him. The following day, I spent hours reading through all his posts, looking at all his pictures, and in essence "getting to know him". I truly wish I had the chance to know him... As of 9/3/08, I now have 2 new tumors, #3 and #4. • A 3rd new tumor (4 mm x 7 mm) was discovered on 8/20/08 on my Corpus Callosum. • A 4th new tumor was found just 2 weeks later on Diagnosis12 October 2008 David C. Welch is a 42-year old man with a primary brain tumor in the left frontotemporal area. His treatment has included a biopsy and 2 total brain surgeries. When David's March - August 2008 Carboplatin + VP-16 IV-based chemotherapy ended, new things have happened. David now has tumors #3 and #4, both found within weeks of each other.
